Project Description:

We are looking for experienced Senior and Manager-level Finance Process Documentation Specialists with a strong accounting and Record-to-Report (R2R) background to support our client's Finance team during year-end close activities. We are also open to highly experienced professionals with exceptional expertise in accounting processes and process documentation. The role focuses on observing financial processes, capturing accounting activities and controls, and developing clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong accounting and Record-to-Report (R2R) background.

• Good understanding of month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Experience in areas such as General Ledger (GL), journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, intercompany accounting, or financial reporting.

• Experience in process documentation, SOP creation, process observation, or knowledge transfer.

• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

• Fluent English (written and spoken).

• Willingness to travel from Poland to Manchester.

Responsibilities:

• Observe Finance teams during year-end close activities.

• Capture accounting activities, process steps, controls, and hand-offs.

• Create clear and structured SOPs and process documentation.

• Develop supporting training and knowledge-transfer materials.

• Collaborate directly with Finance SMEs to clarify processes and ensure accurate documentation.

• Work independently with limited client oversight.

Seniority Levels:

• Senior: Experienced accounting/R2R professionals with strong process documentation skills.

• Manager: Highly experienced professionals capable of independently managing process observation, documentation, and knowledge-transfer activities with limited client oversight.

• Expert: Exceptional candidates with extensive relevant experience will also be considered.

Work Model:

• Location: Poland, with travel to Manchester, UK.

• On-site presence: Required only during key year-end close activities.
