Required Qualifications:

• Several years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or Hybrid Cloud environments.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Public Cloud, Azure Stack Hub, and Azure Local.

• Strong knowledge of Azure services, including App Service, WebJobs, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, and Azure SQL.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation using PowerShell and ARM Templates.

• Practical experience with Azure DevOps, including Repositories and Pipelines.

• Experience designing, implementing, and operating Azure IaaS and PaaS environments.

• Proven experience in cloud migration projects, including assessments, migration planning, testing, and rollback strategies.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Good understanding of cloud security, compliance, and operational requirements.

• Professional proficiency in German and English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AKS, particularly AKS on Azure Local.

• Knowledge of Volkswagen Financial Services infrastructure and architecture.

• Experience with .NET applications and multi-tier architectures.

• Experience designing hybrid cloud modernization and migration strategies.

• Microsoft Azure certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, DevOps Engineer Expert, or Azure Hybrid Cloud-related certifications).

• Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow

• Comfortable leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance productivity, automation, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational efficiency.

Project Description:

Scope of Services:

• Design and evolve hybrid cloud architectures and platform roadmaps.

• Provide architectural consulting and technical leadership for Azure-based platforms.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions.

• Automate provisioning and configuration of Azure IaaS and PaaS services.

• Manage source code repositories and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.

• Support AKS implementation and development on Azure Local.

• Assess and support application and database migrations to Azure environments.

• Create migration, testing, and rollback strategies.

• Provide L3 support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for critical incidents.

• Define security, operational, monitoring, and disaster recovery concepts.

• Create technical, operational, and security documentation.

• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and technical handovers.
