Required Qualifications:
2–5 years of professional experience in software testing, primarily manual testing
Experience testing complex business applications, preferably ERP systems
Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
Experience creating and maintaining test scenarios, test cases, and test documentation
Ability to analyze business requirements and user stories and translate them into effective test cases
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Good communication and collaboration skills
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Nice to Have:
Experience with API and UI testing
Experience working in Scrum or a similar agile environment
Basic experience with test automation
Familiarity with Playwright, Selenium, SpecFlow, or similar testing tools
Knowledge of Gherkin syntax
Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Confluence
Experience using AI tools in day-to-day work
ISTQB or equivalent certification.
Project Description:
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join a long-term project focused on enterprise software and ERP solutions. The role is primarily focused on manual testing of business-critical applications. You will work closely with Product Owners, Analysts, Developers, and Designers to validate new features, identify defects, and continuously improve product quality and testing processes. This is a fully remote freelance opportunity, currently planned through the end of 2027, with the potential for extension based on project needs.
Scope of Services:
Perform manual testing of ERP applications based on business requirements and analytical documentation
Design, execute, update, and maintain test scenarios and test cases
Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing
Define and prioritize acceptance test cases in line with user story acceptance criteria
Identify, document, and track defects and risks using defect management tools such as Azure DevOps
Review user stories and solution designs from a testing perspective and suggest improvements
Monitor test coverage and ensure adequate coverage of new and existing functionality
Prepare and maintain test plans, test reports, and quality documentation
Collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, Developers, and Designers throughout the development lifecycle
Report testing progress, quality risks, and testing effectiveness to relevant stakeholders.
