Application Support / Managed Services Engineers (.NET)
Project Description:
We are looking for Application Support / Managed Services professionals with a .NET background to join teams responsible for supporting and maintaining business-critical applications. We have opportunities for candidates with different levels of experience – from professionals with around 2 years of relevant experience to Senior-level specialists. Depending on your experience and the project, the role may focus on Application Support or more technical Managed Services / Production Support activities.
Working models : Depending on the project and team, different working arrangements may be available, including: Regular business-hours support with on-call duties 24/7 support organised in a three-shift model The exact model will depend on the specific project and position. Important This is not a typical .NET Developer position. We are looking for people who have technical knowledge of .NET-based applications to understand how they work, investigate issues and support them effectively in production. The role can range from application administration and operational support to deeper technical troubleshooting and advanced support, depending on your experience.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, Managed Services or a similar technical role
Technical background in the Microsoft / .NET ecosystem
Ability to understand application architecture and troubleshoot technical issues
Experience working with and analysing application logs
General understanding of databases, APIs, integrations and application environments
Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS or similar) would be an advantage
Familiarity with monitoring, ticketing or ITSM tools would be beneficial
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes and propose effective solutions
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams
A proactive and responsible approach to resolving incidents and operational issues
English at B2 level or higher
Willingness to work in a support environment
Responsibilities:
Providing L2/L3 and advanced L4/L5 application support
Supporting and maintaining applications in a production environment
Monitoring application health and investigating incidents
Analysing application logs, errors and system behaviour
Troubleshooting technical and application-related issues
Supporting configuration, administration and application changes
Performing root cause analysis and supporting problem resolution
Participating in knowledge transfer and application transition activities
Cooperating with development, infrastructure, cloud and business teams
Supporting releases, deployments and production changes
Maintaining technical and operational documentation
Working within established incident, problem and change management processes
