Senior/Regular C++ Qt Developer with GStreamer

Project description:
We are looking for a Senior or Regular C++ Qt Developer with solid GStreamer expertise to join a project focused on the development and integration of advanced video and camera functionality within a next-generation automotive infotainment platform.
You will work on real-time video processing solutions running on Embedded Linux systems, developing and optimizing GStreamer-based multimedia pipelines integrated with C++ and Qt applications. The project involves live camera streaming, hardware-accelerated video processing, encoding and decoding, as well as performance tuning for low-latency environments.
The target platform is based on ARM64 architecture using Qualcomm SA8295 hardware and modern Embedded Linux / Yocto environments. A strong understanding of multimedia frameworks, camera systems, and video optimization techniques is essential for success in this role.

Requirements:
Strong commercial experience with GStreamer (must-have, key requirement)
Strong C++ development skills
Hands-on experience with Qt applications development
Experience working in Linux environments
Solid understanding of video pipelines, codecs, video formats, and streaming architectures
Experience with debugging, profiling, and performance optimization of multimedia applications
Knowledge of hardware-accelerated video encoding and decoding
Experience integrating multimedia solutions with existing C++ applications and Linux services
Ability to troubleshoot complex multimedia and embedded system issues
Nice to have:
V4L2 experience
Wayland and OpenGL knowledge
Experience with Qt Multimedia and QML
Embedded Linux / Yocto expertise
Experience with DMA-BUF and zero-copy architectures
Automotive or infotainment industry background
Experience with Qualcomm platforms
Knowledge of H.264 and HEVC codec internals
Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow
Main responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain GStreamer pipelines for video and camera processing
Integrate multimedia pipelines with C++ and Qt applications
Develop and optimize solutions for live camera streaming using V4L2
Implement video processing features such as cropping, scaling, format conversion, and stream splitting
Work with hardware-accelerated H.264 and HEVC encoding/decoding solutions
Integrate video rendering components with Wayland and OpenGL environments
Analyze, debug, and optimize multimedia performance and latency
Implement and maintain zero-copy / DMA-BUF-based data flows
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to video processing and embedded platforms
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in delivering high-quality infotainment solutions
Contribute to architecture discussions and technical improvements across the multimedia stack
