Requirements:
Minimum 4–5 years in QA/testing roles, with demonstrable, primary hands-on experience in testing video and/or audio products (e.g., cameras, conferencing devices, mics, video bars, streaming solutions)
Advanced experience working in embedded Linux and Android environments
Strong cross-platform testing skills (Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS) with a focus on audio/video functionality
Understanding of AV codecs, streaming protocols, and multimedia performance metrics.
Understanding of USB, Bluetooth, and Wifi/Ethernet protocols.
Proven ability to clearly document test results and communicate findings effectively.
Programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash scripting) to support test automation or troubleshooting.
Experience with automation frameworks for video/audio product testing.
Bash scripting knowledge for task automation in Linux/embedded environments.
Nice to have:
Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow
Experience using network sniffers (e.g., Wireshark) and debugging tools (e.g., ADB) for analyzing embedded and cross-platform communication issues.
Project description:
We are searching for a QA Engineer with a strong background in testing video and audio solutions to join our Kraków team. In this hybrid position, your primary mission will be to lead the verification and validation of advanced audio video conferencing products, ensuring top-tier performance for our global customers.
Main responsibilities:
Video & Audio Solution Testing (Primary Focus)
Take the lead in hands-on testing of video and audio products, such as cameras, microphones and conferencing systems
Analyze, design, and execute test scenarios focused on real-world audio/video usage, assessing streaming quality, feature sets, and cross-platform integration
Collaborate actively with product teams to set and maintain the highest quality standards for multimedia devices
Embedded & Cross-Platform Testing ○ Drive testing of multimedia device performance in embedded Linux and Android environments, plus Windows, macOS, Linux, and ChromeOS systems
Validate a full range of device connectivity, emphasizing AV quality over USB, Bluetooth, and Wifi/Ethernet
Test Planning & Execution
Review requirements and specifications to develop comprehensive test coverage with special priority for audio/video features
Maintain and execute detailed test cases, ensuring thorough evaluation around AV quality and product risk
Prepare and present clear, data-driven reports on product quality
