Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software development

• Understanding of key robotics concepts related to programming robotic arms

• Hands-on experience in programming industrial robot arms (e.g. ABB)

• Technical leadership skills & experience

• Great problem-solving and proficiency in Python

• Fluent communication in English

• Experience in designing complex, multilevel software systems (Lead)

Project description:

We are looking for Senior Robotics Engineers and a Lead Robotics Engineer to join a 3-month project via B2B freelance cooperation, with the possibility of extension.

Our client is a fast-growing robotics company developing AI-powered robotic solutions for warehouse automation, with a particular focus on piece-picking operations. Their technology combines robotics, computer vision and machine learning to enable robotic arms to handle a wide variety of items efficiently and accurately, supporting applications such as order fulfilment, returns processing and inventory management.

The project focuses on developing the software and business logic layer of new robotic warehouse installations. The team will work on designing, implementing, testing and delivering software that supports the operation and programming of robotic arms, using technologies such as Python, ROS and Docker. The scope includes both software development and robotics-related work, with engineers expected to independently lead projects and contribute to the development of complex robotic systems.

Salary ranges:

• Senior: 27 - 35 EUR/h

• Lead: up to 42 EUR/h
