Requirements:
Commercial experience in QA and test automation, including UI and API testing
Good understanding of software quality and testing best practices
Experience with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) and Gherkin
Experience creating structured test specifications and executable scenarios
Experience testing REST APIs and creating automated API tests
Experience working in Agile software development environments
Ability to identify quality risks and propose mitigation actions
Ability to communicate effectively with developers, Product Owners and business stakeholders
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration
Nice to have:
Experience with React-based web applications
Experience testing public-facing APIs
Experience building or maintaining test automation frameworks
Experience creating executable specifications from business requirements
ISTQB certification
Experience with ERP, Finance, or Accounting software products
Knowledge of modern Quality Engineering and Shift-Left practices
Experience with AI-assisted testing solutions
Project description:
Join a long-term product development initiative focused on improving software quality through test automation, API testing and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD). You will work closely with engineering teams, product stakeholders and business representatives to help build quality into the product from the earliest stages of development.
Main responsibilities:
Contribute to quality planning for new features
Participate in requirements refinement and identify quality risks early in the development process
Create and maintain BDD scenarios and executable specifications using Gherkin
Create and maintain automated tests aligned with business requirements
Design, build, and maintain automated UI tests using Playwright
Develop and maintain automated API tests
Contribute to test automation frameworks and CI/CD quality pipelines
Support API testing activities and automation efforts
Validate functionality, security, compatibility, and error handling
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve quality practices
Continuously increase automation coverage and reduce reliance on manual testing
Contribute to improving testing processes and tooling
