Senior Content Specialist
We are looking for a Senior Content Specialist to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and ensure website content aligns with business objectives while effectively engaging target audiences. This role is responsible for developing and governing content strategy, managing website content, and supporting the adoption and optimization of a headless CMS platform.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
5–7 years of experience in content strategy and content management, with in-depth knowledge of content strategy principles, practices, and methodologies.
Strong knowledge of website content best practices, including SEO, user experience, and accessibility.
Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and managing content projects.
Proficiency in working with headless CMS platforms and a strong understanding of content management workflows and processes.
Experience editing and analyzing digital content with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Outstanding organizational skills.
Main responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy for the website, ensuring alignment with business goals and target audience needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define content requirements, guidelines, standards, and content KPIs.
Establish and maintain content governance processes, including content best practices, review, approval, archiving, and continuous improvement of content performance.
Provide guidance and support to stakeholders in executing content strategies aligned with brand messaging and business objectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement content structures within the CMS, ensuring consistency across digital touchpoints.
Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
Support the full website content lifecycle, from strategy through analysis, with an emphasis on governance.
Manage and optimize content workflows and processes within a headless CMS to improve content reuse across digital channels.
Govern the content model and taxonomy to ensure consistent use by business and digital/IT stakeholders.
Audit the CMS to ensure best practices are followed and update taxonomy as new websites are onboarded.
Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless CMS integration and functionality.
Train marketing stakeholders on using the headless CMS platform and adopting the headless content approach.
Stay up to date with advancements in headless CMS technology and recommend improvements.
