Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud engineering or a similar role
Strong hands-on experience with both Azure and AWS
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash/Shell, and PowerShell
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently in complex, multi-environment platforms
Very good communication and collaboration skills
Nice to have:
Cloud certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect)
Experience with DevOps practices and methodologies
Experience with OS hardening and security compliance frameworks
Knowledge of enterprise patching and compliance automation
Experience working in large-scale, regulated enterprise environments
Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow
Project description:
The project focuses on building and operating a highly automated, secure, and compliant multi-cloud virtual machine platform across Azure and AWS. The platform is designed for large-scale enterprise environments, ensuring reliability, auditability, and continuous compliance across multiple regions.
The Senior Cloud Engineer will work closely with platform, security, and operations teams to deliver standardized VM lifecycle management, golden image engineering, and centralized patching and compliance processes.
Main responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain end-to-end VM lifecycle automation across Azure and AWS
Engineer and manage OS golden images using Packer and configuration management tools
Implement and operate centralized patching, compliance, and maintenance workflows
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Bicep
Automate operational processes using Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, and Python
Integrate cloud automation with CI/CD pipelines and identity solutions
Ensure security, compliance, and audit readiness across environments
Collaborate closely with platform, security, and operations teams
Support and improve monitoring, compliance reporting, and operational stability
