We are looking for an experienced Senior React Native Developer responsible for building and maintaining modern mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. The person in this role will collaborate closely with the project team on application architecture, implementation of new features, and performance optimization. This is a 4-month freelance contract (with a possibility of extension, though not guaranteed).

Requirements

• Availability starting June 1st

• 4+ years of commercial software development experience

• strong knowledge of React Native and TypeScript

• experience with REST API integrations

• understanding of App Store and Google Play release processes

• experience working in Agile teams

• good knowledge of Git

Nice to have

• experience with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development

• familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications

• experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a cross-platform mobile application using React Native for iOS and Android.

• Implement new features based on the existing web application and business requirements.

• Collaborate with backend, web, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and consistent user experience.

• Integrate REST APIs and real-time communication mechanisms.

• Optimize application performance, stability, and scalability.

• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.

• Contribute to improving development standards, CI/CD processes, and overall code quality

Project description

Development of a mobile application based on an existing web platform used for managing autonomous cleaning robots operating in shopping malls, airports, and other large commercial facilities. The application will support robot monitoring, task management, real-time status tracking, and operational control for end users.
