DevOps (Defence, Security and Aerospace)

Requirements:
Professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, System Administrator or similar role
Very good knowledge of Linux system administration, troubleshooting and hardening
Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Practical experience with container technologies and basic Kubernetes administration
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools
Experience with monitoring and logging systems
Ability to automate operational tasks using Bash, Python or similar
Solid understanding of IT security principles (access control, patching, vulnerability management, secrets)
Experience working with on‑premise infrastructure or environments with restricted connectivity
Polish – fluent / native
English – C1
Willingness to undergo mandatory personal security clearance (up to NATO Secret / Tajne)
Readiness to work on‑site in Wrocław, including periods of full on‑site work due to security requirements
Nice to have:
Experience in projects for public administration, defence or security sectors
Knowledge of NATO standards (STANAG) or other defence-related regulations
Experience in regulated, audited or certified environments
Knowledge of PKI, cryptography, identity and access management
Experience cooperating with security teams and participating in audits or compliance reviews

Project description:
The project focuses on defence and security-related systems developed and maintained in regulated and classified environments. You will work on highly secure, on‑premise infrastructures with limited or no external connectivity, supporting critical software delivery pipelines and environments that must meet strict security and compliance standards. Close cooperation with infrastructure, security and project teams is a key part of the role.
Main responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for defence and security projects
Administer and support Linux-based systems in restricted and on‑premise environments
Ensure availability, stability and security of development, test and production systems
Automate infrastructure and operational processes to improve reliability and repeatability
Support development teams with build, deployment and runtime issues
Participate in incident analysis, troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Prepare systems and documentation for security audits and compliance reviews
Cooperate closely with infrastructure, security and project teams in classified environments
