This is a freelance, half-time role fully remote from Szczecin or Wrocław, with the client based in Munich, Germany. Occasional on-site visits are required for a few days at a time to support key project activities. After approximately eight months in the role, there is a possibility of transitioning to direct employment with the client as part of a long-term cooperation model.

Requirements:

• Experience in system integration within automotive or mobility projects

• Strong understanding of mechanical component integration

• Basic knowledge of E/E systems and interfaces

• Ability to work with cross-functional engineering teams and external suppliers

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• English – fluent

Project description:

We are looking for an Experienced System Integrator responsible for the integration of purchased components, primarily mechanical components and, to a lesser extent, E/E components, within the overall vehicle or system architecture. The ideal candidate will ensure proper integration, functionality, and compatibility of externally sourced components within the product platform while collaborating with engineering teams and suppliers.

Main responsibilities:

• Integrate purchased mechanical components into the overall system architecture

• Support integration of selected E/E components and interfaces

• Coordinate with suppliers and internal engineering teams to ensure technical compatibility

• Validate component integration through testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution

• Support documentation of system architecture, interfaces, and integration requirements
