Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks with a primary focus on Cypress

• Create and execute automated test cases for UI and API layers

• Perform API testing (REST/JSON), including validation, integration, and regression scenarios

• Use SQL to retrieve, validate, and analyze data from databases for testing purposes

• Manage and maintain test data, ensuring consistency and reliability across environments

• Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owner to ensure quality at every stage of development

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps

• Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis

• Contribute to test strategy, quality standards, and best practices across the team

• Support release processes and production validation when required

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Automated QA Engineer in a large, international organization

• Strong hands-on experience with Cypress for UI test automation

• Solid experience in API testing (e.g., REST services, tools like Postman or similar)

• Practical knowledge of SQL for data retrieval and validation

• Experience working with Azure DevOps (pipelines, test plans, work items)

• Strong understanding of software testing principles, test design techniques, and QA methodologies

• Experience in managing test data across multiple environments

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and automation integration

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills in English

• This is a freelance project running until December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension.
