Project description:

The QA Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests to ensure high software quality. The role focuses on test automation for UI, API, and integration scenarios. The engineer works closely with developers to continuously improve product quality.

This is a freelance project until the end of 2026.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop, and maintain automated tests in Java

• Build and maintain test automation frameworks

• Automate UI tests using Selenium WebDriver

• Automate REST API tests

• Execute integration tests

• Perform performance and load testing

• Analyse test results and identify root causes of defects

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Java

• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver

• Experience with TestNG and/or JUnit

• Practical knowledge of Maven and dependency management

• Experience in test framework design (Page Object Model)

• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and XPath

• Experience with REST API testing

• Experience with performance/load testing (e.g. JMeter)

• Knowledge of Spring Framework

• Experience with integration testing

• Ability to analyse test results and identify quality issues
