Requirements:
Electronics & PCB Design (Must-Have)
Minimum 10 years of experience in PCB design (schematic capture and layout)
Proven experience with Altium Designer (mandatory)
Automotive & System Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive or electric drive systems
Understanding of vehicle integration processes
Design for Production & Industrialization
Experience with:
DFM / DFA practices
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrialization
Validation & Testing
Hands-on experience with:
Prototype bring-up and lab validation
Test strategy development and execution
Performance testing (efficiency, thermal, torque-speed)
Functional Safety & Standards
Understanding of functional safety principles (automotive context)
Ability to incorporate safety requirements into hardware design
Awareness of relevant design standards and compliance requirements
System Integration & Cross-Disciplinary Work

Project description:
The project focuses on the development, validation, and integration of an advanced motor control system and associated vehicle subsystems, progressing from early prototype stages to full vehicle integration.
You will be responsible for end-to-end development of motor control units and vehicle control electronics, including the transition from early prototype phases (B0 / B-sample) to production-ready designs.
The work includes close collaboration with engineering teams across disciplines and active participation in vehicle-level integration, where electrical systems are validated under real-world conditions.
A key aspect of the project is iterative development and optimization, covering design, testing, industrialization, and integration into fully functional prototype vehicles. The final outcome is a validated system demonstrating performance, efficiency, and reliability, ready for further scaling and production.
Main responsibilities:
Hardware Design & Development
Design and develop motor control and vehicle control PCBs from concept to production
Define electrical, mechanical, and thermal interfaces
Prototype & Validation Activities
Support prototype build, bring-up, and laboratory validation
Develop and execute:
Test strategies
Validation plans
Commissioning procedures
Analyze results and optimize designs accordingly
Design Optimization & Industrialization
Improve designs based on:
Testing results
Functional safety requirements
Manufacturing feedback
Support transition to series production readiness
Contribute to DFM and production scaling
Motor Control & Performance Testing
Participate in motor control system integration and commissioning
Support performance testing
Vehicle Systems & Integration
Collaborate on vehicle-level systems integration
Support development of:
Body Control Units (BCU)
Power electronics integration
Wiring harness design
Participate in full vehicle integration, testing, and optimization
System Validation & Iteration
Support validation of complete systems in prototype vehicles
Perform iterative improvements based on test results
Contribute to benchmarking and system performance evaluation
