Junior Bid Manager
Requirements:
Professional Background: Minimum of 2 years in bid/proposal management, ideally within a global consulting, legal, or financial services environment.
Education: University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Professional accreditation (e.g., APMP) is highly desirable.
Leadership: Strong presence with the ability to challenge and influence senior-level stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Communication Mastery: Exceptional writing and editing skills in English, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
Organization: Expert-level project management skills and the ability to manage multiple high-priority bids simultaneously.
Technical Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint and Word) and CRM platforms.
Project description:
As a Bid Manager, you will lead the end-to-end pursuit process for high-value, strategic opportunities across various service lines. You will serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, ensuring that every proposal we submit is not only compliant but also presents a compelling, differentiated story that resonates with the client’s unique challenges.
This is a high-visibility role that directly impacts the firm's growth and market position.
Main responsibilities:
Pursuit Strategy: Lead the development of the "Win Theme" and value proposition for complex, multi-million dollar tenders.
Project Governance: Define project plans, manage internal stakeholders (Partners, Legal, Risk), and ensure all milestones are met within strict deadlines.
Content Development: Work closely with technical subject matter experts to draft, edit, and polish proposal content, ensuring a "one-voice" professional tone throughout.
Oral Presentation Coaching: Design and facilitate rehearsal sessions to prepare engagement teams for client interviews and presentations.
Review & Quality Control: Conduct rigorous reviews of bid documents to ensure 100% compliance with client requirements and internal brand standards.
Data Analysis: Track and report on bid performance metrics, conducting post-submission debriefs to identify areas for process improvement.
