Director - Capital Markets
We are looking for a Director to lead our Capital Markets Consulting practice in Warsaw. In this executive role, you will drive strategic client relationships, lead business growth, and shape the direction of the practice. You will hold accountability for key client accounts, revenue generation, and the sponsorship of large-scale capital markets transformation programs – spanning platforms such as Calypso, Kondor+, and Murex. This is a hybrid position, combining office collaboration with remote flexibility.
Requirements:
12–20 years of relevant experience in capital markets consulting or financial services transformation
Extensive background in leading large-scale trading platform implementations (Calypso, Kondor+, or Murex)
Proven track record of revenue generation and account growth
Strong executive stakeholder management experience – ability to engage at C-level
Demonstrated success in originating and closing complex consulting engagements
Strategic understanding of capital markets platform architecture and enterprise operating models
Deep knowledge of trading businesses across fixed income, FX, derivatives, and structured portfolios
Strong financial acumen – portfolio P&L ownership, pricing, and commercial negotiation
Recognized leadership and ability to build and sustain high-performance teams
Fluent English (written and verbal)
Nice to have:
Active presence and reputation in the capital markets consulting market
Experience with regulatory-driven transformation programs (e.g., EMIR, MiFID, Basel)
Track record of contributing to published thought leadership or conference speaking
Experience in a partnership or equity leadership role within a consulting firm
Main responsibilities:
Drive strategic oversight of key client accounts within capital markets
Own revenue generation and achievement of commercial targets for the practice
Lead executive-level client relationship management at C-level and board level
Sponsor large, complex capital markets transformation programs
Oversee financial performance of a defined portfolio – revenue, margin, and utilization
Provide strategic guidance and quality oversight across engagements
Contribute to the development of service offerings and market positioning
Represent Spyrosoft at industry events, conferences, and in thought leadership activities
Sponsor talent development, succession planning, and high-performance leadership teams
Intervene in high-impact risk situations and ensure alignment between delivery and client
