We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Liferay & Java Developer to join an international development team working on modern digital platform solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining enterprise-grade applications built on Liferay and Java, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, DevOps engineers and product stakeholders. This position requires strong backend expertise, a good understanding of modern development practices, and the ability to contribute to scalable and high-quality software solutions.

Requirements:

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience with Liferay

• Strong experience with Java

• Solid understanding of software development best practices

• Experience working in agile development environments

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with international teams

Nice to Have:

• Experience with React and TypeScript

• Experience with Swift

• Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)

• Experience with unit testing

• Experience with containerization and cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

• UI / Frontend styling knowledge: Modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, responsive layouts), component-based styling (Styled Components, Emotion, CSS Modules)

• Familiarity with modern UI frameworks such as Tailwind, Material UI, or Bootstrap

Main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications based on Liferay and Java

• Implement scalable backend solutions and integrations

• Collaborate with front-end developers and other engineers to deliver end-to-end features

• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical improvements

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best development practices

• Support CI/CD processes and help improve development pipelines
