We are seeking a Senior Mobile Apps Designer to lead the design and delivery of best-in-class eCommerce experiences across a portfolio of brands. This role will be responsible for designing and maintaining themes and reusable assets that ensure consistency and quality across multiple mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in mobile design, thrive in cross-functional teams, and possess a passion for creating engaging user experiences from discovery through to delivery.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in mobile app design, with a strong focus on eCommerce or similar consumer-facing applications.

• Proficiency in mobile design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices for both iOS and Android platforms.

• Experience with design systems and creating reusable assets, themes, and components across multiple brands.

• Proven ability to lead end-to-end design processes from concept through to final delivery in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

• Working knowledge of accessibility best practices (WCAG 2.1) and the ability to consider inclusive design requirements in mobile experiences.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

• A strong portfolio showcasing your mobile design work, demonstrating user-centered design solutions for complex problems.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead mobile design efforts from initial discovery and ideation to high-fidelity prototypes and handoff over to development teams.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders to define design requirements and ensure seamless integration.

• Maintain and evolve themes and reusable design assets for mobile apps across multiple brands, ensuring design consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.

• Translate business and user needs into intuitive, engaging mobile app experiences that drive user satisfaction and business results.

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and other discovery activities to inform design decisions and validate solutions.

• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design specifications for mobile apps, ensuring a seamless user experience across iOS and Android platforms.

• Advocate for user-centered design practices within the team and across the organization.

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure design quality and intent are maintained through implementation.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile app design trends, tools, and technologies, and share insights with the team.
