Business Analyst/Product Owner
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Product Owner who will help our customers deal with discovery phase and software development challenges. Investigate, identify and analyze requirements and define areas for improvement for changes needed.
The planned Installation Management System will digitize and streamline installation, replacement, and servicing of metering devices (water/heat meters, allocators, concentrators). It will include a centralized web portal and an Android technician app (online/offline, photos, e-signatures) fully integrated with the existing Reading System.
By replacing paper workflows with electronic protocols, automated reporting, and real-time work-order tracking, it will become the single source of truth for structural and device data, improving consistency and efficiency for all stakeholders (internal teams, admins, property managers/cooperatives, subcontractors, installers).
Requirements:
· 3+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst and/or Product Owner
· Experience in eliciting, splitting, documenting, and refining business requirements
· Experience in business process modeling and business process implementation, preferably utilizing modern notations such as BPMN
· Ability to discuss concepts related to API contracts
· Great communication skills in working with clients and teams
· Solid portfolio of commercial agile projects, web and mobile, implemented in an international environment
· Experience in working on web and mobile applications
· Fluency in English
Nice to have:
· Experience in fields of water and/or heat metering systems
· Fluency in German or Italian
· Microsoft Azure familiarity
Main responsibilities:
· Market research identifying market status, trends, and key players
· Identify, elicit and document detailed and complex business requirements
· Map business processes and customer journeys using recognized modeling standards and tools
· Research and analyze opportunities for improvement
· Close collaboration with development team
· Communicate business requirements clearly to business users, IT professionals, and external partners
· Identify stakeholders and analyze their needs and expectations and translating them into relevant Product Backlog items
