Requirements:

• Minimum 7+ years’ experience in enterprise cloud architecture in medium to large companies

• Extensive experience with the Azure cloud platform and migrations of on-prem environments to Azure

• Experience in pre-sales or customer-facing consulting roles

• Experience in enterprise-scale architecture/design, including hybrid solutions and on-premises integrations

• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple projects

• Deep knowledge of Azure infrastructure components and cloud-native best practices

• Strong solution architecture and design-thinking capabilities

• Knowledge of Azure PaaS Services Familiarity with infrastructure as a code (IaC) Familiarity with DevOps concepts, CI/CD, automation, and monitoring tools

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Fluent in English

• Fluency in German (is preferred but not mandatory)

Project description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Solution Architect with a strong focus on Azure infrastructure. In this role, you will lead the design of scalable, secure, and innovative cloud solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Working closely with both technical and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in pre-sales engagements and end-to-end solution delivery.

Main responsibilities:

• Microsoft Azure: Lead the design and architecture of Azure-based infrastructure solutions that meet customer requirements, including compute, networking, storage, identity, and security

• Engage in pre-sales activities: understand customer needs, conduct discovery sessions, assess current environments, and translate business requirements into technical architectures

• Produce high-quality architecture documentation, including solution designs, diagrams, effort estimates, and technical proposals

• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, project management, engineering) to support successful project planning and delivery

• Contribute to the development of reusable solution blueprints, methodologies, and best-practice guidelines

• Leads technical discussions and presentations for internal teams and stakeholders
