Senior Azure Network Engineer Associate

Tech stack:

  • Cloud Platform: Microsoft Azure
  • Networking Services: Azure DNS, VPN Gateway, Virtual Network Gateway (VNG), Azure Firewall, Web Application Gateway (WAG), Web Application Firewall (WAF)
  • Automation & IaC: Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI
  • Monitoring & Logging: Azure Monitor, Network Watcher, Log Analytics
  • Security & Compliance: Azure Policy, NSGs, ASGs, Azure Defender for Cloud
  • Protocols & Standards: TCP/IP, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, IPSec, BGP

    • Requirements:

    • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Azure Networking.
    • Deep expertise in:
      • Azure DNS
      • VPN (Site-to-Site, Point-to-Site)
      • Azure Firewall
      • Virtual Network Gateway (VNG)
      • Web Application Gateway (WAG) and Web Application Firewall (WAF)
    • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, GitHub).
    • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell).
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
    • Good command of English (minimum B2 level).

    Certifications

    • Required: Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)
    • Preferred: Additional Azure certifications such as:
      • AZ-104 (Azure Administrator)
      • AZ-800 / AZ-801 (Windows Server Hybrid Administrator)

    Main responsibilities:

    • Proven experience in designing and managing Azure network infrastructures
    • Strong understanding of cloud networking principles and security best practices
    • Hands-on experience with automation tools (Terraform, PowerShell)
    • Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues in hybrid environments
    • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and implementing secure network policies
    • Excellent communication and documentation skills
    • Availability for on-call duty and shift work
