Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure or DevOps Engineering
- Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure acceptable)
- Proven experience with Terraform / Helm / similar IaC tools
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- CI/CD setup experience (GitLab CI / GitHub Actions)
- Scripting proficiency in Bash and Python
- Solid understanding of networking, observability, and cloud security fundamentals
- Excellent English communication skills (C1 level) and collaborative mindset
Nice to have:
- Experience with edge computing, robotics, or IoT infrastructure
- Knowledge of cost optimization practices in cloud environments
- Familiarity with GCP Monitoring, Cloud Run, or custom observability solutions
Project description:
Our client is a global leader in advanced robotics and automation services operating in the renewable energy sector.
The project focuses on rebuilding and optimizing the company’s cloud infrastructure, which supports data processing, operations management, and web-based systems.
You’ll be part of a small, high-impact team responsible for modernizing and stabilizing the existing platform, improving automation, and enabling faster, more reliable software delivery.
Main responsibilities:
- Redesign and reimplement core infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Automate provisioning and configuration of GCP and hybrid environments using Terraform or similar tools
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple services (GitLab / GitHub Actions)
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes (GKE) clusters and workloads
- Ensure robust logging, monitoring, and observability across all environments
- Set up and manage load balancers, API gateways, and CDN layers
- Split environments into staging and production, ensuring proper isolation and reliability
- Support development teams with tooling, deployment workflows, and incident resolution
