Manual Tester (web and mobile)
About the Project
We're working on an innovative logistics platform focused on certifying drivers of CEP (Courier, Express, and Parcel) companies. The solution includes:
- A web application for CEP service providers to conduct driver verification and cross-company evaluations.
- A mobile application for drivers to manage certifications and verification checks.
The platform is being developed from scratch and will support both web and mobile ecosystems, offering a unique opportunity to work on a full lifecycle product in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Position Overview
We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong analytical and technical testing skills to join our team - on a freelance project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications through comprehensive testing processes across multiple platforms. The first contract would be by the end of January 2026, with possible extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, create, and maintain test cycles, test packages, and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct manual tests to ensure functional and performance quality.
- Utilize test management tools such as Zephyr, TestRail, TestFlo, TestLink, or XRay.
- Perform API testing using Postman or equivalent tools to validate backend integrations.
- Use ADB, Android shell, and developer tools for debugging and device-level testing.
- Work with Android Studio, Xcode, and other IDEs to execute and analyze test builds.
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility across MacOS, Windows, and Linux environments.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and project managers to identify and resolve defects early in the development lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in software quality assurance or QA engineering, especially with both web and mobile applications.
- Solid understanding of test methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools (Zephyr, TestRail, TestFlo, TestLink, XRay, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of REST API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Familiarity with mobile testing tools and environments (ADB, Android shell, Android Studio, Xcode).
- Proficient in using multiple operating systems (MacOS, Windows, Linux).
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Experience working on logistics, transportation, or driver verification platforms.
- Exposure to automation testing frameworks or scripting.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration testing practices.
