Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a high profile initiative focused on upgrading the application and cloud infrastructure of a radiology system within the UK healthcare sector. This role is fully remote. Successful candidates will be managing project delivery in a sensitive environment, working with both internal stakeholders and healthcare partners to ensure seamless and compliant implementations.
The ideal candidate will bring proven project management expertise in software implementations, ideally within the health sector or wider healthcare networks, with at least three years of solid project management within software applications. A recognised qualification such as PRINCE2, or equivalent hands on experience, is desirable.
You will need a strong technical aptitude, the ability to learn quickly, and experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Organisational skills, excellent follow through, and clear communication (written and verbal) will be key to delivering results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
In addition, candidates with experience using the Atlassian suite, MS Project, and Excel will be at an advantage, as these tools are integral to tracking, planning, and reporting across the project lifecycle. This role requires strong skills in building and managing detailed project plans, as well as prioritising and executing tasks in time-sensitive conditions. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in modernising radiology infrastructure, working closely with stakeholders to improve healthcare technology and deliver tangible outcomes for patients and clinicians alike.
Essential Key Skills and Responsibilities
You will:
- Have previous project management experience of delivering software implementations into the NHS and other healthcare networks or 3 years working in project management within the software application space
- Have 3+ years’ experience of project management experience in a software environment
- Be able to manage multiple projects (minimum of 5 projects at any time!)
- Be able to function well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment on busy projects
- Have exceptional organizational and follow-through skills, strong communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to build and manage project plans
Desirable Skills/Knowledge/Experience
- Prince 2 or similar Project Management Qualification/experience
- Solid technical aptitude and quick learner
- Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
- Strong problem solving skills
- Proficient experience with Atlassian suite
- Microsoft Office including MS Project & Excel

- A degree in IT related field or similar work based experience.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager ideally with a focus on health-related projects.
