Role Overview

We are looking for experienced End User Computer Engineers to support a short-term project focused on building and deploying approximately 250 laptops. This is hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise in laptop builds, Intune, Active Directory and Office 365, with the ability to provide clear and professional support to end users.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and deploy laptops in line with company standards.
• Enroll and manage devices through Microsoft Intune.
• Manage user accounts, policies and access via Active Directory.
• Install and configure core and business-specific applications.
• Ensure compliance with security policies during device setup and handover.
• Provide Customer-Facing support to end users during deployments.
• Support and troubleshoot Office 365 applications where required.

Key skills

• 2-3+ years of experience in information security, compliance, or risk management roles within the IT industry.
• Laptops Builds & Deployment – Imaging, configuration and rollout of devices at scale.
• Microsoft Intune
• Active Directory
• Office 365
• Experience with using Windows 11
• Fluent in English.

Experience

• Technical Expertise – Hands-on experience with laptop builds, configurations and deployment at scale.
• Intune Knowledge – Skilled in device enrollment, configuration profiles and compliance policies.
• Active Directory – Proficient in user account management, group policies and access controls.
• Office 365 Support – Experience with installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Office 365 applications.
• Application Management – Ability to install, configure an troubleshoot business applications.
• Security Awareness – Understanding of security best practices in device builds and deployments.
• Customer-Facing Skills – Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to support end users professionally.
• Problem-Solving – Capable of diagnosing and resolving technical issues quickly and effectively.
• Time Management – Ability to manage workloads and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork – Works collaboratively with colleagues and project leads to achieve deployment targets.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex compliance requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Positive “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn.

Duration of the contract: 3 months – contract FTC (full-time)
