Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional experience in IT infrastructure and hybrid cloud architecture
• Proven track record in designing complex enterprise-grade solutions
• Virtualization Expertise: VMware vSphere (design, deployment, optimization)
• Compute Infrastructure: Hands-on with blade servers, rack-mounted systems, and converged infrastructure platforms
• Storage Solutions: Deep understanding of SAN, NAS, and object storage architectures and vendors (e.g., Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE)
• Backup & DR: Experience with Veeam, Commvault, and architecting business continuity strategies
• Azure IaaS Proficiency: Strong command over Azure VM, Networking, Storage, and native DR features
• Capable of creating solution diagrams, BoMs, and high-level designs
• Skilled in technical presentations and articulating solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Languages: Fluent in English
• Nice to have: Good written and spoken German language skills

Main responsibilities:

• Engage with our customers to understand their requirements and translate them into technical and commercial solutions. 
• Collaborate closely with presales teams to develop winning proposals, including bill of materials (BoM), solution diagrams, and high-level design documents. 
• Collaborate with internal delivery teams on improving and further developing our managed services. 
• Conceptualise data centre solutions based on standardised solution components Architect compute, storage, backup and virtualisation infrastructure leveraging modern technologies.
• Design IaaS solutions in MS Azure
