AI Chatbot Trainer
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled AI Chatbot Trainer to join our team and play a key role in building and scaling intelligent virtual agents using the Boost.ai platform. This position is part of a long-term engagement with a major US-based enterprise, where you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, training, and optimizing chatbot solutions that operate across complex enterprise environments.
This is a hands-on, technically focused role, ideal for professionals who have direct experience creating conversational AI experiences on Boost.ai or similar platforms. You will collaborate closely with both business and technical teams to deliver high-performing, scalable chatbot solutions that solve real business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and train AI chatbot solutions using Boost.ai (or comparable platforms).
- Build conversational flows from scratch, applying structured methodologies to ensure robust, scalable designs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and organize domain knowledge, ensuring solutions align with business objectives.
- Optimize chatbots for performance, leveraging analytics to refine intents, improve NLP accuracy, and enhance user experience.
- Define fallback and escalation strategies to maintain high service quality.
- Lead workshops, demos, and stakeholder meetings to drive alignment and demonstrate progress.
- Work proactively to promote best practices in conversational AI design and champion high-quality outcomes.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience with Boost.ai, or similar chatbot platforms such as Dialogflow or Amazon Lex.
- Strong understanding of NLP and conversational AI fundamentals, including intent recognition, dialog management, and fallback design.
- Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and prompt engineering best practices.
- Experience building enterprise-grade chatbot solutions involving complex systems, integrations, and rigorous performance requirements.
- Ability to design, train, and manage conversational flows from scratch.
- Proficiency in analyzing performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Strong business analysis skills to gather, structure, and translate requirements from both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities; comfortable leading workshops, demos, and discussions with diverse audiences.
- Self-driven, proactive, and committed to delivering solutions that excel in both quality and user experience.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with web technologies such as REST APIs, JSON, and basic scripting (e.g. JavaScript or Python) to support integrations.
