Requirements:

• Proficiency in automating datacenter infrastructure management tasks and IT-Service related tasks and workflows e.g. technical customer onboarding 
• Proficiency working with APIs, CI/CD for application deployment using tools like GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Docker, AWX and Morpheus 
• Experience as Windows /Linux administrator 
• Knowledge of databases and SQL 
• Experience with PowerShell, Bash and Shell Scripting 
• Experience with ITIL processes and the design/managing complex workflows and related tool mapping (e.g. Service Now) 
• Experience with private clouds, e.g. VMware Experiences
• Experience with public clouds, e.g. Azure 
• Collaborative with IT teams working agile, including development, system administrators, and network administrators 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset 
• Fluent English

Main responsibilities:

• Dev Assess new automation ideas: Besides task automation your special focus is e2e automation workflows 
• Creating Automations: Design and develop a solution for valid use cases with the defined automation toolset 
• Conduct Code Review: Ensure automations comply with the development standards for automation and maintain development guidelines 
• Deploy & Handover: Deploy automations, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and accurate execution of automation tasks 
• Control Automation Usage: Control/improve the usage of existing automations and report the savings through automation by reducing manual work, shorten lead times and improving process quality 
• Maintain Automation Library: Take the lead in maintaining the automation library, proper documentation, code repository, and build the basis for reuse of automations Ops
• Participate in Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot issues arising from the execution of automations, identify root causes of failed tasks or workflows, fix the defects/bugs in automation jobs/scripts/workflows and implement effective solutions to enhance system reliability 
• Regular checks that defined blueprints and playbooks comply with defined design standards and naming conventions 
• Train people from other domains to properly use automation functionality and new automation features 
• Support identifying lack of documentation (application usage / interfaces / operation manuals) and help filling gaps 
• Support maintaining the Scrum story board by checking failed jobs and adding fixes as tasks/stories 
• Participating in and supporting Scrum Ceremonies within Dev team
