We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Architect to join our architecture team in designing modern, scalable, and secure cloud-based solutions. You will work closely with other architects, analysts, and development teams to align cloud architecture with business goals, non-functional requirements, and best practices. This is a hands-on leadership role involving design, documentation, technical mentoring, and some implementation responsibilities.

Requirements: 

• Strong experience designing cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure. 
• Solid understanding of microservice architectures, Kubernetes, and containerization. Experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, and monitoring tools like Azure Monitor. 
• Proficiency in C# and knowledge of modern software design patterns. 
• Understanding of cloud networking architectures, such as Hub & Spoke. 
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform. 
• Experience with Azure security tools and governance best practices. 
• Understanding of distributed data processing and Lambda Architecture concepts is a plus.

Key responsibilities:

•  Collaborate with business analysts to gather and refine functional and non-functional requirements. 
• Work alongside data, security, infrastructure, and enterprise architects to ensure solution alignment. 
• Define architecture solutions and iterate with delivery teams to ensure feasibility and quality. Communicate architecture clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
• Lead or participate in architecture governance forums and design reviews. 
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across the software development lifecycle. 
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical specifications. 
• Conduct or support proof-of-concept work to validate design choices. 
• Make decisions on technology selection and ensure long-term scalability and maintainability. 
• Support implementation teams with architecture guidance and devops activities.
