Requirements:

• IT education and Data Center Infrastructure Experience. You have a degree in computer science/business informatics or a comparable qualification. You are experienced in planning and implementing virtual Server environments and migration of virtual workloads. You know what is important on a IT Service Life cycle.
• Customer focus. You are keen to understand the customer needs and transform requirements into solutions. In the end you identify and implement Win/Win Solutions.
• Expertise in virtualization, operating system, storage and cloud technologies. You have high expertise in VMWare vSphere environments, Block and File Storage Solutions from Netapp or comparable products. Good knowledge in Linux and Windows Operating System processes and device handling. You have experience with Server and Storage in Azure Cloud context. You can do root cause analysis to identify configuration or performance issues in the area of Server and Storage.
• Automation and Scripting. You have good practical Scripting skills on Windows and Linux Shell and with Ansible Automation.
• Managed Service. You have experience in how to provide End-to-End IT Services to the customer with the help of ITIL practices.
• Project and agile way of working. You understand how to create value for the customer while integrating project and agile methodology into your day-to-day activities.
• Interpersonal Skills. You have a proactive, team-oriented mindset. With your communication skills, your reliability, and loyalty you will help the Team to succeed.

Main responsibilities:

• Design and Implementation Design and implement a virtual Server or Storage Solution, detail the Solution in a low-level Design and implement the result to a Private or Public Cloud environment. Ensure smooth handover to Service Operation.
• Assessment and Migration. Discover an existing Data Center Server and Storage Infrastructure and understand its Architecture, Components and relationships among each other. Plan and implement solutions to migrate Servers, Storage Devices or Files from an existing infrastructure to a new infrastructure.
• Deployment. Implement virtual Infrastructure, Bare Metal Servers and Storage Devices on demand.
• Customer interaction. Understand customer requirements and striving for the best solution. Supporting Pre-Sales activities with, technical knowledge, best practices and Standard Deliverables.
• Automation as code. Optimize existing Infrastructure deployment and change processes.
• Evaluation and Test. Plan and Implement Proof-of-Concepts to evaluate new technologies, products and solutions.
• Knowledge Sharing. Share knowledge in projects through Trainings and Demos underpinned by handouts and operational manuals.
