Project description

Our customer is a leading German producer of customized solutions for the self-supply of solar-powered electricity. This includes photovoltaic, energy storage systems as well as cloud technology systems helping individuals to become energetically independent.

Please note that this position involves occasional on-call duty to resolve potential customer-critical incidents.

Main responsibilities:

• Implementation and management of Wazuh as the central SIEM solution.
• Integration and management of vulnerability management tools like OpenVAS and Qualys.
• Utilizing Opensearch for the analysis and visualization of security events.
• Ensuring compliance with security requirements according to NIS2 and Kritis.
• Developing, implementing, and managing security policies and procedures.
• Conducting regular security analyses and assessments.
• Monitoring and analyzing security events and incident response.
• Creating reports and dashboards to monitor security metrics.
• Training and supporting the team regarding security technologies and best practices.

Required skills:

• At least 3 years of experience working with Wazuh.
• At least 2 years of experience conducting security assessments and vulnerability scans using OpenVAS and Qualys.
• At least 2 years of experience using Opensearch for the analysis and creation of security reports.
• Knowledge of the security requirements of NIS2 and KRITIS as well as practical experience in their implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in creating and implementing security policies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Additional certifications in the field of IT security (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are advantageous.
